Working with the TITRONIC
4.1

Switching the piston burette on

Please do not switch the TITRONIC
connected.
The display sequence after power-up is as follows:
- Display of the software version number, e.g. 03 03
- Display of the interchangeable unit being used, e.g. <<hd 50>>
- Display of the set RS address, e.g. <<Ad 00>>
- Display of the interchangeable unit being used, e.g. <<hd 50>>
- Display 'Burette is filling' <<00:00>>
− - Display ready <<0.000>>

Possible applications of the TITRONIC
Possible applications of the TITRONIC
Depending on the connected devices, the TITRONIC
®
- The TITRONIC
110 plus Piston Burette is controlled by other devices through the RS-232-C interface.
In this case the RS-232-C interface takes priority over all other functional units (please refer to chapter

4.3, "Titrating using the TitroLine alpha plus Titrator").

- Titrations are performed under manual control using the TR 160 Manual Titration Controller (please refer
to chapter 4.4, "Titrating using the TR 160 Manual Titration Controller").
- When connecting a keyboard in addition to the TR 160 Manual Titration Controller, it is possible to
parameterise the TITRONIC
- It can be used to dose a pre-defined volume.

Titrating using the TitroLine alpha plus Titrator
Titrating using titration devices equipped with a RS-232-C interface
The connected titration device (e.g. a TitroLine alpha plus) takes total control of the TITRONIC
Piston Burette. Control by a titration device via the RS-232-C interface takes priority over all other units
which are connected, e.g. over the TR 160 Manual Titration Controller.
As a rule, the data link between the TITRONIC
with a RS-232-C interface is made through a data cable of the TZ 3084 type, with the data input 1 of the

TITRONIC
110 plus Piston Burette being used.
