5. Installation

You must read and follow the safety instructions before the installation!

The Bitron 9C/11C is suitable for a pump capacity of up to 5,500 l/h. The water
flow-through on the UVC bulb should not exceed 1500l/h for the Bitron 9C,
and 1700 l/h for the Bitron 11C. See the bypass setting.

Please select the filter system according to the following table (selection
criteria: Pond size and with/without fish stock).
Aquamax 2.000
Aquamax 3.500
Aquamax 5.500
Near natural garden ponds with plant zones and no fish stock.
Near nature garden ponds with plants and a fish stock of up to 1000
grams per 1000 liters.
Garden and koi ponds with a fish stock of 1000 grams to 3000 grams
per 1000 liters.
5.1 Setting up the Bitron
5.1.1 Single setup with hoses

Anchor the Bitron horizontally on a suitable substrate with the feet down.

Use Ø 3.9 mm metal screws to mount the unit.

The screw may be screwed into the casing feet a maximum of 22 mm.

When using the Aquamax 2000, the bypass can be closed with the sealing
cap (1d). A second line should be attached for the bypass for Aquamax 3500
and 5500.

Adjust the bypass according to 5.2 and close the hoses according to 5.3.

Push the threaded collar (1a) over the stepped hose adapter (1b). Push the hose
up and secure with a hose clamp (one hose clamp in each of these sizes is
included: ¾", 1", 1¼" and 1½" for the water supply. Insert the flat gasket (1c) into
the threaded collar (1a) and screw it tightly onto the threaded duct.
