5. Initial use

1. Remove the packaging material and check that all parts listed are present.
2. Check the device, Power Adapter and Power Cord for damage.
3. Remove the Battery Compartment Cover on the underside of the device and insert three "AAA" size alka-
line batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings indicated. The batteries supply power in
case of a power outage.
NOTE: In order to use the mood lamp, the power adapter needs to be connected. It cannot be used with
only batteries.
4. Place the device on a flat, stable surface.
5. Insert the Power Adapter plug into the power jack on the rear of the device.
6. Insert the Power Adapter into a standard 110V AC electrical outlet. The time will show on the LCD Display.
NOTE: To reset the device to factory settings, press the reset button on the underside of the device using
a pointed object.

6. To Set Up

NOTE: The display will return to normal mode if no button is pressed for 10 seconds.
Setting the time and the snooze duration
1. Press the SET/MEM button; the time will start to flash. Press the ▲/▼ buttons to set the desired time.
NOTE: To change values rapidly, press and hold the ▲/▼ buttons.
2. Confirm the selected time with the SET/MEM button; "12 Hr" will flash on the LCD Display. Press the
▲/▼ buttons to select 12 or 24-hour time format. Press the SET/MEM button to confirm.
3. "Zz 05" will flash on the LCD Display. Press the ▲/▼ buttons to select the desired snooze duration (5-60
minutes) and press the SET/MEM button to confirm and exit.
NOTE: To see the time in the dark, press the dome of the lamp downwards to illuminate the LCD Display.
Press once for dim illumination and again for brighter illumination. The light will shut off after about
five seconds. This NOTE is only when use batteries only (without power adapter).

Setting the alarm

You can set two separate alarm times.
1. To set Alarm 1, press the AL 1-2 button once. To set Alarm 2, press the AL 1-2 button twice.
