Safety instructions

WARNING! Read all safety warnings and
all instructions. Failure to follow the warn-
ings and instructions may result in electric shock,
fi re and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
- The top speed shown on the tool must not be
exceeded. If the speed range is given, it must
be observed.
- The tools with visible cracks must not be used
(the repair is unacceptable).
- The clamping surfaces must be cleaned and
grease, lubricating oil and water must be re-
moved.
- The tools must be clamped in such a way so
that the release of them cannot occur during
machining. The fi xing bolts must be tightened
only by means of appropriate tool using the
torque prescribed by the manufacturer. The tol-
erances that ensure the proper clamping must
be observed.
- For the knives with a force joint, the knife inser-
tion up to the stop as well as cutting edge side
overlap by 0.2 mm over the guide plate edge
must be observed.
- The clamping bolts must be tightened based
on the manufacturer's instructions. If such in-
structions are not available, the bolts must be
tightened from the centre to the edge.
- The extension of the spanner arms as well as
usage of hammer hits is not allowed.
- If all cutting edges are blunt or damaged, use
the new knife unconditionally.
- The resin can be removed from light alloys only
by means of solvents, which have no infl uence
on their mechanical properties (pH value equal
to 4.5 to 8).

- Only the Original spare parts are allowed to be
used for the repair work.

Before Putting into Operation

WARNING
Risk of accident, electric shock
 Always pull the plug out of the socket before
performing any type of work on the machine.
Set the HK 132 E to its minimum cutting depth,
and remove the sawblade and riving knife (see
operating instructions).
1. Remove the ting gear cover (1) of the pendulum
protective guard by means of the two bolts (2).
2. Place the notching head with both drill holes (3)
on the follower pins (4; Ø 7 mm) of the mount-
ing fl ange.
3. Tighten the clamping bolts and the clamping
fl ange to fi x the notching head.
4. Tighten the clamping bolt by means of the ring
spanner SW 19 (5) counter holding the notching
head steadily using the arbor (6).
5. Place cutter cover (7) on the pendulum mount
(8).
6. Tighten the mounting bolts (9) of the cutter
cover.
7. Place the chip guard (10) on the stationary part
of the protective guard.
8. Tighten the mounting bolts (11) of the chip
guard.

cycling centre! Observe the valid national regula-
tions.
EU only: European Directive 2002/96/EC stipulate
that used electric power tools must be collected
separately and disposed of at an environmentally
responsible recycling centre.
