It is possible to lift the top of the internal cover and
fi ll the tank directly.
The tank can be removed, fi lled up and rinsed out
under a tap.
The level of water must never exceed the
MAX (4/5 cm from the upper edge) and
must always be maintained over the MIN
(the fl oating sensor in the bottom of the
tank must be always covered by water).
Use only fresh drinking water. Hot water and
other liquids can damage the tank.
The machine will not function with a level of
water lower than the minimum. Make sure
that your hands, the machine, the power
cord, and the supporting surface of the ma-
chine are not wet.
PREPARATION OF MACHINE
Insert the power cord in the socket on the back

of the machine. Insert the plug in the electrical
socket.
Press the power button bringing it in position I.

The left lit button fl ashes. Wait for the three but-
tons to light up with a fi xed light. The machine is
ready to be used.
When fi rst switching on the machine after a
long period without use, or following a lack
of water in the tank, it is necessary to change
the water in the tank.
ENERGY SAVING
After about one hour of inactivity the machine

goes into energy saving mode. The three but-
tons switch off , and the left button starts to fl ash,
its brightness changing from a minimum to a
maximum in a continuous cycle.
To restart the machine, raise up and press down

the capsule loading arm or press a coff ee button.
The green indicator light starts to fl ash.
When the machine is ready to be used, it sounds

a melody and the three coff ee brewing buttons
light up with a fi xed light.
USED CAPSULES REMOVAL
An alternate fl ashing of the two external buttons
and the central button, as well as an acoustic sig-
nal, indicate that the used capsule drawer is full
and it is necessary to empty and reinsert it.
