Caring for articles with transferred images
Wash in cold water on the gentle cycle.
Place the article in a lingerie or sweater bag before putting it in the washing machine.
Do not use bleach or fabric softener. You can use ordinary laundry detergent.
Do not wash the article with other clothing.
Do not dry clean the article.
Do not hand wash the article. Do not soak the fabric or wring it, as this may cause the transferred image to peel or smear.
Allow the article to spin dry for at least three minutes before removing it from the washer.
Do not tumble dry.
Hang the article to dry it. Be sure there are no wrinkles on the transferred image.
Be sure the article is completely dry before you put it away. Otherwise the image may deteriorate. Hang or fold the article to
prevent wrinkling.
Do not use spray starch, waterproofing spray, or similar agents.
Whenever you iron an article with a transferred image, be sure to use the ironing sheet included with your Iron On Cool Peel
Transfer Paper. This sheet protects the image from the iron's heat. If you have transferred images on both the front and back
of an article, use the ironing sheet to protect both sides.
Try not to stretch the fabric, as this will cause the transferred image to crack. Take special care when dealing with stretchable
fabrics.
Note:
Transferred images will deteriorate with repeated washing.
c
Caution:
Discontinue using clothing if the transferred image causes a rash or other problems.
Using the ironing sheet
Whenever you iron an article with a transferred image after washing, be sure to use this ironing sheet to protect the image from
the iron's heat. Heat from the iron can cause the image to melt.
Note:
This sheet is only used after the image has been transferred. You do not need to use this sheet during the transfer process.
You only need to use this sheet to protect the transferred image. Iron the rest of the article as you normally would.
Always use the ironing sheet to protect the transferred image, even when you are ironing the opposite side of the fabric or ironing over a
protective cloth.
1. Place the ironing sheet over the image, taking care that the printed side of the sheet is face up so that print does not smear on
the image or fabric.
2. Apply the iron to the top of the sheet.
3. Allow the sheet and the transferred image to cool for a minute or two, then gently peel the sheet off.
