■ Use the quick connect nipple
[1-5] to connect the dry jet blow
gun to the compressed air circuit.
■ Turn the air flow regulator coun-
terclockwise until the required air
flow is set.
■ Hold the dry jet blow gun in the
required working position. Make
sure to aim the gun correctly (see
Chap. 9.1).
■ To stop blowing air, turn the air
flow regulator clockwise to the
stop and disconnect the dry jet
blow gun from the compressed
air circuit.
9.3. Stand operation
Information!
These operating instruc-
tions describe how to use the
SATA dry jet 2 stand with height-
adjustable mount and 2 dry jet
blow guns (Art. No. 223008).
Alternatively, any other extensions
and variants of the SATA may
also be used. For example, the
SATA dry jet 2 jumbo stand (Art.
No. 223503).
■ Set up, position and align the
stand [4-4], [4-9].
■ Use the quick connect nipple
[4-3] to connect the stand to the
compressed air circuit.
■ Turn the dry jet blow gun air flow
regulator clockwise to the stop.
■ Connect the dry jet blow guns
[4-1], [4-8] to the quick connect
couplings [4-2], [4-7] and adjust

aim.
■ Turn the air flow regulator for the
dry jet blow guns counterclock-
wise until the required air flows
are set.
■ To stop blowing air, turn the
dry jet blow gun air flow regula-
tor clockwise to the stop and
disconnect the dry jet blow guns
from the stand or disconnect the
stand from the compressed air
circuit.

10. Maintenance and Care

Danger!
Risk of injury due to loose
components
Components could unexpectedly
come loose when performing
maintenance work on a dry jet
blow gun that is connected to the
compressed air circuit.
→ Disconnect the dry jet blow gun
from the compressed air circuit
before performing any mainte-
nance work.
Replacement parts are available for
repair work (see Chap. 13).
10.1. Replacing the flat fan
nozzle
Removing the flat fan nozzle
■ Remove the flat fan nozzle [2-6]
from the front nozzle [2-7] of the
dry jet blow gun.
Attaching a new flat fan nozzle
■ Slide the flat fan nozzle [2-6] onto
the front nozzle [2-7] of the dry
