8. Initial Operation
The dry jet blow gun must be at-
tached prior to initial use.
After unpacking check for:
■ damage to the dry jet blow gun
■ complete delivery of all listed
parts (see Chap. 5).
8.1. Attaching the flat fan
nozzle
The flat fan nozzle needs to be
attached and aligned in order to
direct the blown air.
■ Slide the flat fan nozzle [2-6] onto
the front nozzle [2-7] of the dry

8.2. Attaching the quick con-
nect nipple
Information
The quick connect nipple is
included with the standard ver-
sion only. For all other versions,
the customer must supply the
quick connect nipple. The SATA
quick connect nipple (Art. No.
6981) is required in order to
connect the dry jet blow gun
to a SATA dry jet 2 stand or
SATA dry jet 2 jumbo stand.
■ Screw the quick connect nipple
[2-5] onto the air connection of
the dry jet blow gun [2-4] (torque:
1 Nm).
8.3. Installing the sieve
Information!
The sieve cannot be cleaned
and needs to be replaced when
clogged (see Chap. 10).
The sieve is symmetrical. It can
be installed in any direction.
■ Press the sieve [2-1] into the filter
holder [2-2] until it snaps into
place.
