Cooking plate
Upon delivery, the ferritic stainless steel plate of the plancha will have a matte
appearance. Scratches and black spots will appear soon during the normal course of use
of the appliance. These are caused by using different utensils and the acids in food. This is
perfectly normal. All these scratches and spots will soon blend and the plate will have a
patina and brushed appearance which will not change any more over time.
To clean the stainless steel plancha, switch it off and close the gas valve.
