OPERATION
1.
The machine should be installed on a stable and resistand surface. The On/Off
switch (7) should be in front of the operator.
2.
Make sure that the power supply corresponds to the requirements of the device
(see technical details or technical plate)
3.
Turn the device on. The knife starts to rotate counterclockwise. Let it rotate for
2-3 minutes to check if everything works normally.
4.
Adjust the slice thickness with the regulator (8). To do so, turn the knob counter-
clockwise.
5.
Fix the carriage with the locking knob (9) so that it touches the movable bulk (6).
To fix the carriage, turn the locking knob counterclockwise.
6.
Place the food you want to slice on the carriage, and hold it with the pusher
handle (4). Slide the carriage with the handle from one side to the other in a
regular way to slice the food.
7.
As soon as you are done with your work, slide the carriage back to its start po
sition on the left. Turn the regulation knob (8) and the locking knob (9) back to
zero.

Then, you can remove the food from the carriage.

Caution!
Never use the device for more than 15 minutes in order to avoid overhea
ting of the engine. After a short break the device can be turned on and used again.

Note!
If the engine stops working (jammed) while cutting dry products (i.e.
bread),the carriage has to be moved back in order to avoid engine overheating; the cutting
operation can be resumed afterwards.
KNIFE SHARPENING
If the surface of sliced product becomes frayed or coarse and the cutting operations
become cumbersome, the knife is to be sharpened.

Pull the plug from the socket and
before sharpening clean the knife
edges with use of alcohol in order to
degrease it.

Loosen the fixing screw (a) of the
sharpener (14) on the back side of the
device. (fig. 3)
•
Remove the sharpener (14) and turn
it by 180°.
•
Put the sharpener (14) into the spe-
cial rail and tighten the fixing screw
(a) again.
•
Make sure that the surface of the
sharpener is close to the edge of the
knife.Correct the positioning if requi-
red.
