Switch device on
1. Ensure that the condensation tank is empty and
inserted correctly. Otherwise, the device will not
operate!
2. Insert the mains plug into a properly secured
mains power socket.
3. Open the flap at the air outlet (2).
4. Switch on the device at the mains switch (8).
5. Check whether the operation indicator light (10)
lights up red.
6. Check whether the condensation tank indicator
light (9) is out.
7. The first time that you use the device, turn the se-
lector switch (12) to "Hi" (11).
8. Let the device run for approx. one hour in the "Hi"
position (11).
9. To maintain the current humidity level, turn the
selector switch (12) to "Lo" (13).

Automatic defrost

If the room temperature is below 15 °C, the evapora-
tor becomes covered in frost while dehumidifying. The
device then carries out an automatic defrost approx.
every 30 minutes (duration: approx. 5 minutes).
• The automatic defrost is interrupted when the
mains switch (8) is pressed or the selector
switch (12) is turned.
• Do not turn off the device during the automatic
defrost. Do not remove the mains plug from the
mains socket.

Shut down procedure

1. Switch off the device at the mains switch
(see chapter "Operating elements").
2. Do not touch the mains plug with wet or damp
hands.
3. Remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
4. Empty the condensation tank and wipe it dry with
a clean cloth. Check for dripping condensation.
5. Clean the device, and especially the air filter,
according to chapter "Maintenance".
6. Store the device according to chapter "Storage".
