Applying Power
1.
Once the wiring is complete, make certain that the
enclosure is clean of any wire clippings and that no
fragments are lodged in the relay circuit boards.
2.
Ensure that there are no loose wires or exposed wires
that could short.
3.
Power-up the unit from the circuit breaker.
4.
Once power is applied to the unit, the power LED on
the RSC (right next to the override switch) should light
up and stay ON. The status LED on the RSC should
flash. The Status LEDs on each relay card should also
flash indicating that the relay card microprocessor is
operating.
5.
At this point, lighting loads may be operated via the
individual relay override switches on the relay cards or
by using the Relay Stack Controller Override Switch.
6.
If the enclosure is a 32 or 48 size enclosure, make
sure that the upper backplate is in place. To mount
the upper backplate, ensure that the 1/4 turn screws
are all vertically aligned before trying to place them in
place. Starting with the upper left corner, gently press
the 1/4 turn screw into its mounting hole. Press all 1/4
turn screws in place in a clockwise method. Once all
screws are in place, press down on each screw in turn
and gently turn the 1/4 turn screw to the right until
the screw head is horizontally aligned. This will lock it
in place. Turning the screw further than 1/4 turn may
result in it breaking.

Manually Controlling Relays
The relays in the ControlKeeper T enclosure may be
controlled before the logic board is in place using the Relay
Stack Controller or the individual relay override switches on
each relay.
Relay Stack Controller
The Relay Stack Controller (RSC) is at the bottom of the
enclosure. It acts as a master override to the system. The
RSC contains a three position rocker switch: ALL OFF,
AUTO, ALL ON. By moving the rocker switch to the right,
the Green LED will be lit and the relays will close. By
moving the rocker switch to the left, the Red LED will be lit
and the relays will open. The middle, AUTO, position allows
the relays to be controlled by the individual relay switches
or from the logic controller.

RSC Override Switch
Individual Relay Override Switch
Each individual relay has its own individual relay override
switch that may be used as a temporary override to panel
programming. If used, that relay will be in the commanded
overridden state until the next command from the
ControlKeeper T to that relay. The RSC three position rocker
switch will be able to override the individual relay override
switches. However, when the RSC is moved back to AUTO,
it will revert control back to the logic panel or individual
relay override switches.
All relay cards have a small round button next to each
relay on the board. This button will allow the relay to be
overridden ON or OFF. To override the relay ON, press
the button until the LED next to the relay lights up. This
indicates that the relay has been commanded to close. To
override the relay OFF, press the button until the LED next
to the relay turns OFF. This indicates that the relay has
been commanded to open.
