3. Screw the valve nut and
seal packing on the valve
main body.
CAUTION
Do not overtighten!
4. Insert the valve body
from below the deck into
the hole.
5. Tighten the valve
mounting hardware and
shank mounting hardware
securely to the rough
deck.
6. Connect the cold and hot
water supply pipes to the
valve body.
7. Turn on the water supply
lines and check for
leakage.
8. Insert the plaster guards.
9. Make sure the distance
between valve and
finished deck is between
the MAX and MIN
markings of the plaster
guard.
CAUTION
Keep the plaster guard
placed until the tile work
is complete. Be careful
not to allow mortar to
fall into the inside of the
cover.
