6. Initial use
• Remove the packaging.
• Check the device, mains adapter and cable for damage.
• Connect the device to the mains. When doing so, the device must be switched off.
• Ensure that the cable does not pose a trip hazard.
• Charge the device for approximately 1.5 hours before the first use. If the battery level
indicator flashes slowly this means that the battery is charging. Once the display is
permanently illuminated, the device is fully charged. You can now begin using the device
on battery power.
• If the battery level indicator flashes rapidly during battery operation, the battery is empty.
Charge the device by placing it on the charger, ensuring that the contact points on the
bottom of the device are connected. Connect the charger to the mains cable. Insert the
mains adapter into a suitable socket.
• One charge is sufficient for approx. 1 hour of cordless operation.
IMPORTANT
• When switched on, the device should not come into contact with other areas of
skin (e.g. eyelashes, head hair etc.), or with clothes or cords, to avoid injury as well
as blockages or damage to the device.
• Do not use the device on irritated skin, varicose
veins, rashes, spots, (hairy) birthmarks or wounds
without consulting a doctor beforehand. The same
applies to patients with weakened immune systems,
diabetes, haemophilia and immune insufficiency.
