Using the StableSound ®feature
The StableSound feature limits the highest volume level to prevent
extreme changes in volume when the signal source is changed.
To turn on the StableSound ®feature:
1. Press MENU, then press 4 or _ to display the AUDIO menu.
2. Press A or V to highlight STABLE SOUND.
3. Press 41or I_ to highlight ON.

4. Press EXIT to return to normal viewing.
To turn off the StableSound ® feature:
Highlight OFF in step 3, above.
Turning off the built-in speakers
Use this feature to turn off the TV speakers when you connect an
audio system (see "Connecting an audio system" on page 14).
To turn off the built=in speakers:
1. Press MENU, then press 4 or _ to display the AUDIO menu.
2. Press A or V to highlight
SPEAKERS.
3. Press 4 or _ to highlight OFR
4. Press EXIT to return to normal
viewing.
To turn on the built=in speakers:
Highlight ON in step 3, above.

Selecting the HDMI TMaudio input source
See page 13 for details on connecting an HDMI or DVI device to the
TV's HDMI input.
If you connect a DVl device, to hear audio you must also connect the
analog audio cables to the HDMI audio IN jacks (see page 13). Set the
HDMI audio input setting to "DVI" with this connection.
If you connect an HDMI device and play media with digital audio
output, to hear digital audio, set the HDMI audio input setting to "HDMr'
with this connection.
If you connect an HDMI device but play media with analog audio
output (for example, certain CDVs do not output digital audio), to hear
audio you must also connect analog audio cables to the HDMI audio IN
jacks (see page 13). Set the HDMI audio input setting to "DVr' with this
connection.
To select the HDMI audio input source:
1. Press MENU, and then press ,,_or _ to display the AUDIO menu.
2. Press _ or A to highlight HDMI.
