SERVICE
a.Charger service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service or
maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in a risk of injury.
b.When servicing a charger, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instruc-
tions in the Maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorised parts or fail-
ure to follow Maintenance instructions may create a risk of electric shock or injury.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury, user must read in-
struction manual.
– This charger can be operated by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or a lack of practical experience and knowledge, provided they are su-
pervised or have been instructed to use the machine safely and understand the dan-
gers of machine operation. Children are not allowed use or play with the machine.
– Cleaning must not be carried out by children without supervision.
– Do not open the charger.
– Protect the charger from metal components (e.g. swarf) or liquids.
– Do not use power supply units or battery packs from other manufacturers to op-
erate cordless power tools. Do not use chargers from other manufacturers to
charge the battery packs. The use of accessories not expressly authorised by the
manufacturer can result in electric shocks and/or serious accidents.
– Protect the machine from moisture.
– Protect the cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
– Check the plug and the cable regularly and should either become damaged, in order
to avoid a hazard, have them replaced by an authorised after-sales service work-
shop.
– WARNING! Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries!
– Do not cover vent openings on the charger. The charger can overheat and will not
work properly.
– There is a risk of vapours being released if the battery pack is damaged or not
used correctly. The vapours could irritate your airways. Seek fresh air and consult
a doctor if you feel unwell.
