Supplying power to the equipment

When all the other connections have been made – IF connections; power connections of the modules, of the
LNB and, in the case of modules with conditional access, of the CAMs with the cards of the corresponding sa-
tellite TV platforms – connect the equipment to the electrical mains.
To power the equipment, it is necessary to connect all the modules to the frame of the SP-725 19" rack (code
9120136, which makes the mass connection.

PROGRAMMING THE SS MODULE

Once the DVB-S to IP streaming equipment (915-SS) has been assembled, each SS module can be configu-
red.
All SS modules leave the factory with this IP address: 192.168.10.100. In order to avoid conflicts with other
IP addresses, it is necessary to perform an initial configuration in local mode. Subsequently, it will be possible
to access the DVB-S to IP streaming equipment (915-SS) via the local area network (LAN), either to re-pro-
gramme it or to check is operating status.
