The following options are available for securing
the unit:
With screws
Secure the clamping unit to the work surface

using four screws. Use the four holes [3-1].

With a clamping support
Secure the clamping unit to the work surface

using the clamping support. The corners are
used as clamping surfaces.
With the vacuum
CAUTION
Falling/tripping hazard - Risk of injury
The base surface must be absolutely flat,

smooth and made from an airtight material.

Procedure
Slide the valve [4-1] into position [B] after con-

necting and switching on the vacuum pump.
The vacuum force secures the clamping unit to
the base surface.
 Correct functioning is only guaranteed in the
end positions of the slide valve.
To release the clamping unit, slide the valve [4-

1] to position [A].
 Make sure that the hoses connected to the foot
valve and the vacuum pump do not pose a stum-
bling hazard.

Secondary clamping unit
Attach the VAC SYS SE 2 to your clamping system
via the foot valve VAC SYS FV.
Attach secondary clamping VAC SYS SE 2
Unscrew the plug (1).

Screw the hose element with the shut-off valve

into the foot valve (2) (3).
