Select an installation location for the vacuum pump
that corresponds with the following conditions:
– Protected from thrusts, falling objects or similar
hazards.
– Protected from moisture.
– Max. distance of 13 feet (4 m) from the clamping
unit (due to the length of the vacuum hose).
Connect to vacuum hose
Attach the coupling on the vacuum hose to the
connector.
Safeguard that the coupling is secure.
Only disconnect the vacuum hose when the
workpiece is clamped in position: Switch off the
pump first. Then actuate the coupling and pull
off the vacuum hose.

Setting up and securing
– Secure the clamping unit to a stable, flat, clean,
smooth surface of sufficient size (recommended
set-up height: 2 - 3 ft).
