Description/Intended use
The Dräger PARAT 3100 and Dräger PARAT 3200 are filtering escape
devices for self-rescue while escaping from industrial plants in which
toxic organic or inorganic gases and vapours, sulphur dioxide,
hydrogen chloride and other acid gases, ammonia and organic
ammonium compounds are suddenly released.
The devices are designed for a maximum duration of escape of
15 minutes. They are non-reusable.
This period may be reduced in the case of high concentrations (≥1 Vol%)
or if chemicals which boil at low temperatures (Group 1 and 2) are present.
Inexperienced users may have difficulty breathing.

The filtering escape devices provide no protection against
carbon monoxide or shortage of oxygen.
Failure to heed this warning may result in death or serious
physical injury.
The filtering escape devices are packed in a plastic case suitable for
wearing on the belt or carrying in a jacket pocket.
WARNING
!
If the filtering escape device is used outside the storage
temperature range, the filter performance may decrease.
