3. Never attempt to open the battery pack for any
reason. If the plastic housing of the battery pack
breaks or cracks, immedialely discontinue use and
do not recharge.
4. Do not carry extra battery packs in metal
toolboxes, pockets or other containers along with
other metal objects. Battery packs could be short-
circuited causing damage to the battery pack and
possibly causing severe burns or fire.

supplied with the nailer.

are of Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) type. Cadmium
is considered to be a toxic material by the
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). When
disposing of damaged or worn out Nickel-
Cadmium battery packs, never dispose of
electrical equipment or batteries along your
domestic waste. If your garbage supplier offers a
disposal facility please use it or alternatively use
your local recycling company and dispose it in
the correct manner. This will allow the recycling of
raw materials and help protect the environment.

Battery pack:

Your tool uses an 18.0 volt battery pack, when
ordering replacement battery packs, be sure to
include catalogue number and voltage.
To install the battery pack:
Line up the guide slots on the battery and on the
base of the tool and slide the battery pack flrmly
into place until you hear the lock snap into place
in the charger
as shown in picture above.
To remove the battery pack from the tool, press the
release buttons and firmly slide the battery pack
out until it is released.
The battery pack is not fully charged out of the
box. First read the safety instructions below, then
follow charging notes and procedures.
Battery charger:
The charger can charge the battery in
approximately 1 hour.
Be sure to read all safety instructions before using
your charger.
There are no user serviceable parts inside the
charger. Servicing by an authorized service center
is required to avoid damage to static sensitive
internal components.
Read all of the instructions in the battery charger
section to this manual before attempting to charge
the battery pack for your tool.
Always use correct battery pack (pack supplied
with tool or replacement pack exactly like it.),
never install any other battery pack, it could
damage your tool and may create a hazardous
condition, as well as voiding any warranty you
may have.

Charging procedure:

These chargers require no adjustment and are
designed to be as easy as possible to operate.
(1). Plug the charger into an appropriate AC
power outlet.
