5. Wire and fit wire the Safety Edge Transmitter
Re-connect the front cover buttons connector lead to
the circuit board socket and the LED into the cover as
illustrated in the pictures.
Warning! The control buttons will not function
correctly if the connector is connected the wrong
way.
NB: The cover LED connects to the white 3 pin terminal
block on the printed circuit board.
NB: Ensure all switches on DIP 1 are off (down) and
that the LED is solid GREEN.
Fit the cover.
Fit the light bulb in its holder.
Connect the FREEROLL to the Mains.
The control unit beeps
The cover LED goes RED, AMBER, GREEN twice.
The cover LED goes SOLID GREEN.
Attach the socket to the connector pins on the
circuit board.
Warning! Check carefully that the 2 pin are
connected.
As it is not polarized, there is no specific way to
connect it.
Fit the front cover of the transmitter to the back with
the screws provided.
Warning! Do not use a power screwdriver or
use excessive force or you may damage the
printed circuit board.
Warning! You do not have to program the
Safety Edge Transmitter as it is factory pre-
programmed.
Nevertheless, if you have mixed products from
different
troubleshooting guide pages 38 and 39 and
follow the procedure to program the Safety
Edge Transmitter again.
