13.4. Replace indicator hose
The indicator hose [4-16] shows the water level in the tank [4-11]. If the
water level can no longer be read off clearly, for example because the in-
dicator hose has turned cloudy, then the indicator hose must be replaced.
■ Loosen both union nuts [4-15].
■ Swivel the union elbow [4-14] out. This pulls the indicator hose [4-16]
off.
■ Pull union nuts off the indicator hose.
■ Push union nuts onto new indicator hose.
■ Fit indicator hose onto first union elbow and swivel in.
■ Fit indicator hose onto second union elbow und swivel in.
■ Lightly tighten both union nuts.
13.5. Flush breathing air pipe
When commissioning the breathing air pipe for the first time, it must be
flushed thoroughly with a suitable disinfectant cleaning agent to remove
particles of dirt and germs from the breathing air pipe. This procedure
must also be repeated every twelve months.
Notice!
For the flushing procedure, the quick couplings on the tank lid are
swapped so that the influx of compressed air forces the flushing solution
via the bubble tube through the breathing air pipe.
■ Remove tank, fill with max. 10 l flushing solution and insert again (see
chapter 12.1).
■ Swap quick coupling tank inlet [4-7] and quick coupling tank outlet
[4-10] on tank lid.
■ Place suitable collecting tanks under the automatic condensate drain
valve [1-6], bleeder throttle [1-5], drain flush valve [1-4] and all outlets
from the stub pipes [1-2].
■ Open the drain flush valve [1-4].
■ Open the main air valve [4-22] slowly and press the flushing solution
through the breathing air pipe.
■ Once the complete flushing solution has been pressed through the
breathing air pipe and blown clear, repeat the steps described above at
least twice using demineralised water.
■ Blow compressed air through the breathing air pipe so that it is dried
thoroughly.
■ Remove the tank and clean it thoroughly.
