cover. During these operations, make sure that
you remove the fabric cover from the adjust-
ment button of the safety harness, as shown
in diag. 20.
Please refer to the care label for instructions
on cleaning the fabric cover.

Clean the safety belts, buckle and plastic parts
with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
bleaching agents: they may damage the com-
ponents or make them unsafe.
To fi t / remove the sun canopy, it is necessary
to operate as shown in diag. 21.
HOW TO FIT THE CHILD CAR SEAT TO
THE STROLLER
The Synthesis child car seat can be fi tted to
Chicco strollers equipped with the standard
open/close "CLIK CLAK" system.
Always check the type of hooks the stroller is
equipped with in the instructions booklet, and
whether they fi t the child car seat.
15. Open the stroller following the instruc-
tions provided in the stroller's booklet.
16. Raise the sun canopy of the stroller, if in

use.
17. Recline the backrest completely.
18. Unfasten the two side fabric protections
of the stroller armrests.
19. Pull both external knobs outward, and
turn them to expose the hook of the CLIK
CLAK system.
20. Turn the handle of the child car seat to

the position shown in diag. 22, then fi t
the child car seat onto the stroller, making
sure that it is locked on both sides (a click
will be heard, indicating that the child car
seat is locked correctly on both sides)

21. Release the child car seat from the stroller
by pressing the two release buttons lo-
cated on the handle, as shown in diag.
24. Then lift the child car seat from the
stroller.
WARNING! The child car seat can be fi tted to
the stroller also with the child sitting in the
seat, although the child's weight could make
the operations more diffi cult.
