shoulder straps, if present, from the har-
ness, as well as the two ends of the safety
harness, as shown in diag. 7.
3. Remove the two parts of the safety harness
from the rear of the child car seat, and in-
sert them into the hole which is most suit-
able to the child's height (diag. 8).
4. Re-insert the shoulder straps, if present.
HOW TO FIT THE CHILD CAR SEAT
INTO THE CAR
5. Put the child car seat's handle in a vertical
position, pressing the two side adjustment
buttons (diag. 9).
6. Place the child car seat onto the car seat
where you wish to fi t it (diag. 10).
7. Pull the car safety belt and lock it into the
appropriate buckle, sliding the lap belt into
the two side guides of the child car seat
marked with the blue arrows (diag. 11).
8. Hold the diagonal belt and pull it, until the
lap belt is tensioned correctly (diag. 12). At
the end of these operations, check that the
lap belt is still locked correctly into the ap-
propriate guides marked with the blue ar-
rows.
9. While keeping the diagonal belt tensioned,
slide it into the guide marked with the blue
arrow, located on the rear of the backseat
(diag. 13). Tension the belt as much as pos-
sible, checking that it is not slack or twist-
ed.
WARNING! After fi tting the child car seat, al-
ways check that car safety belt is tensioned
correctly, and that it is safely locked into its
buckle. Also check that the buckle of the car
safety belt does not come into contact with
the points where the safety belt fastens the
child car seat: it could make the child car seat
unsafe in the event of an accident.
CAUTION! For your child's safety: Do not fas-
ten the child car seat with the car safety belt
in any other ways than as indicated in this in-
structions booklet!
10. Turn the handle, as shown in diag. 14.
HOW TO PLACE THE CHILD INTO THE
CHILD CAR SEAT
11. Press the grey button located at the front
of the child car seat and, while pressing
the button, loosen the two belts of the
child car seat (diag. 15).
12. Unfasten the buckle of the safety belts
pressing the red button (diag. 16).
13. Place the child into the child car seat and
fasten the harness (diag. 17). The shape of
the buckle prongs does not allow you to
insert and lock a single harness strap only.
14. Tension the safety harness, pulling the ap-
propriate adjustment belt (diag. 18), and
make sure that it fi ts the child correctly.
HOW TO ADJUST THE HANDLE
The handle of the child car seat can be ad-
justed to 4 positions (diag. 19):
A Position for car transportation
B Position for hand transportation
C Rocking and stroller position
D Baby chair position
CHILD CAR SEAT IN THE BOUNCING
OR BABY CHAIR POSITION
When it is not used in the car, the child car
seat can also be used as a bouncing or baby
chair.
To use it in the rocking position, place the han-
dle in the "C" position.
To use it as a baby chair, place the handle in
the "D" position.
WARNING:
- The use of the child car seat as a bouncing
chair is not recommended for children who
are able to stand up independently (ap-
proximately up to 6 months of age, or 9 Kg.
of weight).
- To avoid the risk of falls, always fasten the
safety harness.
- Never leave your child unattended.
- It is dangerous to use the child car seat on
high or sloped surfaces.
WARNING: Before carrying the child car seat,
always place and lock the handle in the verti-
cal position "B".
HOW TO REMOVE THE FABRIC COVER
To clean the fabric cover of the child car seat,
unfasten the harness and remove the fabric
