Vibration emission value
The declared vibration total value has been measured in
accordance with a standard test method and may be used
for comparing one tool with another.
It may also be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING
○ The vibration emission during actual use of the power
tool can diff er from the declared total value depending
on the ways in which the tool is used.
Possible cause
The tool pulls in large volumes of grass
that are caught between the cover and
the nylon head, the tool is overloaded.
The rechargeable battery power is low.
The rechargeable battery is overheated.
The locking lever is not locked, causing
the main pipe to shorten up during work.

The loop handle is not properly attached
to the main pipe.
The cover is not been properly attached
to the main pipe.
This may be due to a malfunction of the
tool.

This is the eff ect of a function that
protects the rechargeable battery by
turning off the motor when the tool is
exposed to an excessive load. Turn off
the tool and remove the cause of the
overload. Press the power button once
again to continue operation.
Charge the rechargeable battery.
Stop using the rechargeable battery,
remove it from the tool and let it cool in
a well-ventilated location not exposed to
sunlight.
Lock the locking lever.
Secure properly.
Secure properly.
Contact the store where you purchased
the tool or your nearest Hitachi
Authorized Service Center.
○ Identify safety measures to protect the operator that
are based on an estimation of exposure in the actual
conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the
operating cycle such as the times when the tool is
switched off and when it is running idle in addition to the
trigger time).
