Fuse protection in Ω-function:
When in continuity mode fuse damage will occur if the test leads are applied to a
live circuit. The symbol appears to indicate the fuse should be replaced.
Continuity testing can be carried out without any risk of fuse damage in the normal
resistance mode by setting the Lo LIMIT to the appropriate value and switching the
Hi LIMIT off. In this mode the continuity test is slower than the normal
function. Test time can be by switching off the auto range function during power on
with the LIMIT key.
