► Fasten the lamination bar to the basic piece using the countersunk head
screws and secure the screw connections with Loctite® 241 and the cor
responding torque.
5.3 Adaptation
The system ankle joint is adapted to the needs of the patient through the
individual combination of the cylinder pin and spring with the set screws.
1) Insert the spring: Insert the ball into the basic piece with the spring
guide housing and the spring.
2) Insert the stop: Insert the stop sleeve into the basic piece with the cylin
der pin and the stop bumper. In doing so, position the cylinder pin with
the tapered side on the foot stirrup.
3) Secure the thread of the set screw with Loctite® 241 and screw the set
screw into the basic piece. Observe the angle adjustment of the ankle
joint.
6 Cleaning
After contact with water containing salt, chlorine or soap, or when they get
dirty, the system joints must be cleaned promptly.
1) Rinse the system joints with clean fresh water.
2) Dry the system joints with a cloth or allow to air dry. Avoid exposure to
direct heat (e.g. from an oven or radiator).
7 Maintenance
INFORMATION
The product may be exposed to increased loads by the patient.
► Shorten the maintenance intervals according to the expected loads.
The manufacturer requires at least a semi-annual inspection of the product
to verify functionality and check for wear.
Only use 633F7 special lubricant.
