4. Safety valve. Before each use, press the
sphere with a ballpoint pen to make sure it is
not obstructed.
5. Gasket. We recommend that you replace the
gasket every 1 or 2 years, depending on the
frequency of use.
IMPORTANT: Do not adjust parts or attempt to assemble
them in any way other than that indicated. ALWAYS USE
ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS.
6. Timer. The approximate lifetime of the timer
battery is 2 years. You can replace the battery
yourself when it has run down.
Do not submerge the timer in water.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. If the operating valve is blocked, turn off the
heat, open the pressure cooker and clean the
operating valve as described in point III.3.
2. If the fi rst safety valve is blocked, the second safety
valve will be triggered. If this happens, the pressure
cooker can no longer be used and you will need to
take it to a technical assistance centre for repair.
3. No pressure is building up inside the pressure
cooker:
3.1 The pressure cooker is not properly clo-
sed. Close it again and make sure you hear
a click. See point II.3.
3.2 No pressure has been selected. Select po-
sition
or
. See points II.4.3 and II.4.4.
3.3 The second safety valve has been trigge-
red. Take the pressure cooker to a technical
assistance centre for repair. See point IV.2.
3.4 The sealing gaskets inside the lid are da-
maged. Take the pressure cooker to a te-
chnical assistance centre for repair.
4. The pressure gauge is not rising correctly (if this
happens, pressure will still be building up inside
the pressure cooker). Clean the area carefully
with a needle.
