NOTICE! Damage hazard
Ensure that the camera cable is not pinched or damaged. If necessary,
use a 1 cm thick spacer under the camera base (fig. b, page 7).
Please note the following:
• Ensure that the installation location of the camera is sufficiently firm (for example,
to prevent the camera from being knocked down by branches that may brush the
roof of the vehicle).
• The location on the body where you wish to attach the camera must be rigid
enough to allow the camera to be tightly fastened.
• There must be sufficient space behind the chosen installation location to be able
to carry out the mounting procedure.
• To obtain the best results, mount the cameras as high as possible and as close as
possible to the centre of the vehicle.
• Ensure that the installation location of the camera is as upright as possible
(fig. c, page 7).
Proceed as follows:
➤ Temporarily position the cameras using adhesive strips as shown in fig. 0,
page 6 to fig. d, page 7.
➤ Temporarily connect the camera system according to the circuit diagram
(fig. e, page 8).
➤ Perform a basic calibration as a test (refer to chapter "Calibrating the 360° view"
on page 31).
➤ Mark the positions of the cameras.
