- Turn the clamping hook through 180° -detail-.

- Mount the prepared transverse carrier first upon one longi-
tudinal roof carrier and then upon the other.
- 7, 8 -
- Fit the covers of the transverse carrier upon the longitudinal
roof carrier.
- Set the complete assembly upon the longitudinal roof car-
riers in accordance with the dimensions in the figure. (The
front transverse carrier is to be set 10 mm from the edge for
the cover of the longitudinal carrier -detail-.)
- Centre the supporting sections (i.e. dimension
„a" = „a").

- Turn the clamping hook back through 180° -detail-.
- 10, 11 -
- Insert the pawls of the clamping hooks into the holes
in the holder up to the stop. Check their proper fitting
-detail-.
- Upon both sides of the carrier, first tighten the fastening
screws of the holders slightly. Next, tighten them to the tigh-
tening torque so that the gauge lines on the torque wrench
would be in one plane -detail-.
- After tightening all screws, the pawls of the clamping
hooks must be fixed firmly in the holes of the holder
(i.e. the pawls copy the bottom edge of the hole in the
holder precisely, and their slot is inserted after the edge
of the rear side of the holder).

- Insert the cover back to its place. By means of the key, turn
the lock to the horizontal (closed) position. Take out the key
and keep it.
Check the correct setting of the transverse carrier. Check
its fastening by shaking it strongly.
