TRANSVERSE CARRIER
Dear Customer
The transverse carrier, ordering No. LAS 620 002A, is inten-
ded for the cars Škoda Octavia Combi (1Z), Škoda Roomster
(5J7), Škoda Praktik (5J8) and Škoda Fabia Combi (5J). Before
fitting the roof carrier, please read this instructions carefully.
If anything is not clear to you, contact an authorised dealer
of Škoda Auto.

Area of application

The roof carrier serves for the transport of weights, including
large objects (e.g. ski boxes, bicycles etc.).

Important advice

The maximum loading capacity of the car roof in-
cluding the weight of the carriers is recorded in the
Technical Certificate of the vehicle and is 75 kg at
most (fig. 13).
Because of safety reasons, the maximum loading
capacity of the roof may not be exceeded!
With a weight on the roof, drive carefully and do not sur-
pass the velocity of 120 km/h.
Mounting
For mounting the transverse carrier, proceed in accordance
with the pictures and mounting instructions. The individual
instructions must be carried out with all the four holders
always.
Advice. For the vehicles Škoda Roomster and Škoda Prak-
tik, first prepare the carrier in the following way:
- set the cover (A) upon each holder in accordance with
the figure 4 (the cover is not removed any more).
- other instructions for the fitting of the carrier are iden-
tical for both the types of vehicles.

- Set of complete packing of transverse carrier.

- By means of the key, turn the lock to the vertical (opened)
position and shift out the cover.

- Loosen the screw by means of the included torque wrench
so that the end of the screw may be at the same level with
the nut -detail-.
