Device Description:
The FMX Reusable Power
Module (RPM) controls the delivery of power
from the FMX Generator to an attached
FMX surgical instrument. The RPM is
intended for use exclusively with the
FMX Generator and compatible
FMX surgical instruments.
The RPM is a reusable device
with a limited service life.
The RPM has an internal
counter that limits its service
life to 100 procedures. The
generator will notify the user
after 100 procedures are completed. A completed
procedure is registered in the RPM when it is
unplugged from the generator and remains inactive
for a period of time. The number of remaining
procedures is indicated on the generator display
when the RPM is connected to the generator.
Indications:
The FMX Reusable Power Module (RPM) delivers the necessary
power to operate various FMX surgical instruments. For specific indications of the
individual FMX surgical instruments, see their respective Directions for Use.
