CHAP. 11 – PROPER USE AND ADVICE
WARNING: Before starting remove cords, wires in plastic or metal, electric wires, sticks, rags from the floor. This material must be
eliminated because it causes damage to the brushes and to the anti-dust gaskets.
Air suction is fundamental to prevent dust spread in the working area. The suction system must always be "ON" except in the two following
cases:
1 -
TRACES OF WATER ON THE SURFACE TO BE CLEANED
2 -
DURING THE FILTER SHAKING OPERATION WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING
In the event of points 1 and 2, block the air suction turning the switch OFF, Part. 3 Fig. 8.
Be careful when going over rails or guides etc. They are the main source of damage for anti-dust gaskets. Go over them very carefully.
The side brush must only be used to clean borders, angles, corners etc. The brush must be lifted and turned OFF just after the use to avoid
spread of dust in the air.
In case of bulky objects or very light debris (leaves, packets of cigarettes etc) lift the front flap by pressing the flap pedal with the left foot
heel. Part. 4 Fig. 7.
EMPTING THE DUST CONTAINER
Stop the central brush rotation and lift the brush moving the lever forward Part. 14 Fig. 8.
Raise the dust container by moving bit by bit the lever Part. 1 Fig. 10 to the backward position and by pressing at the same time the
buttons Part. 12 e Part. 13 Fig. 8.
