Empty the container moving the lever that opens the bottom, Part. 2 Fig. 10
At the end of dumping close the bottom releasing the lever Part. 2 Fig. 10, lower the container moving forward the lever Part. 1 Fig. 10 and
press at the same time the buttons of the hydraulic lifting system Part. 12 and 13 Fig. 8.
 In case of very dirty floor or great amount of material to pick up it is advisable to give the floor a shallow cleaning, then empty the
container, a single cleaning operation will shake the filters and repeat the cleaning to get the result expected.
 After employing the machine on regular basis, a single operation will be sufficient to guarantee the expected cleanness.
 Empty the container frequently and keep the filters clean to get a better result.
CHAP. 12 – ORDINARY MAINTENANCE

FILTER CLEANING
Every 40/70 hours of work or when necessary check the filters Part. 4 Fig. 12.
Lift the dust container (Fig. 10) moving the lever Part. 1 Fig. 10.
After raising the container connect the security plug Part. 1 Fig. 14. In the back of the machine under the filter, unplug the electrical connectors
of the shaker Part. 1 Fig. 12.
Remove the filter to clean it thoroughly.
Unfasten the screws from the angular filter blocks Part. 2 Fig. 12 to pull out the filter. Use a forklift to move the filter, the fork length must fit
the filter dimension (adjust the space between the forks and block the position).
The filter can either be removed manually by at least 2 people working together.
Keep the filter raised above the ground with the aid of the forklift.
Cleaning operations:
softly shake the filter, beat it on the ground (not violently) to drop the dust;
employ a powerful vacuum cleaner or a compressed air tool to blow air from the outside to the inside Fig. 12.
Make sure that the black gasket is placed in the correct position before putting the filters back.
Make sure the filters are in good conditions and replace them when necessary.
ANTI-DUST GASKETS
40/70 hours of work check the condition of the gaskets Part. 1 (removable) and Part. 2, Part. 3 (nr. 3 fixed) Fig. 13 around the central brush
Part. 2 Fig. 14 and replace them if necessary.
IMPORTANT
When replacing the gaskets make sure that the shorter ones on the side (tot. nr. 2) are placed approx. at 2mm of distance from the ground.
CENTRAL BRUSH
Part. 2 Fig. 4. Every 50/80 hours of work or when necessary check the condition of the central brush in particular if forbidden material may
have been taken up by mistake (like cords, threads etc).
How to remove material caught up into the bristles
Lift the container, Fig. 14 until it is possible to insert the security plug into the junction between the supporting shaft and the arm;
Fix the security plug and low the container until it stops over the shaft;
Inspect and clean the central brush
