5. a. Be sure the hose is the proper size. Long
hoses or tools using large volumes of air
may require a hose with an I.D. of 1/2 inch
or larger depending on the total length of the
hose
5. b. Do not use multiple number of hoses
connected together with quick connect
fittings. This causes additional pressure
drops and reduces the tool power.
1. Drain tank. (See air compressor manual). Oil
tool and run until no water is evident. Oil tool
again and run 1 to 2 seconds
2. a. Install a water separator/filter. NOTE:
Separators only work properly when the
air passing through the separator is cool.
Locate the separator/filter as far as possible
from the compressor
2. b. Install an air dryer
2. c. If the original separator will not separate all
the water from the air, install a Campbell
Hausfeld air filter (PA2121)
1. Replace blade
2. Lubricate the tool according to the lubrication
instructions in this manual
1. Oil tool and squeeze trigger several times
2. a. Gently tap tool to try and break valve loose
2. b. Disconnect tool from air supply. Attach
only the sanding pad to tool. Rotate
sanding pad back and forth several times
(should rotate approximately 38°). Remove
hand from pad and plug tool into air supply.
Squeeze trigger. Repeat until valve has
broke loose and tool runs.
3. Adjust the compressor regulator to 90 psi
maximum while the tool is being triggered
