8. Use
8.1. First Use
SATAgraph 4 is supplied fully assembled and
ready for operation. After unpacking, check:
■ SATAgraph 4 damaged.
■ Scope of supply complete (see chapter 5).
■ Check that all screws are screwed tight.
8.2. Normal Operation
Connect the compressed air supply
■ Connect compressed air supply line to air
valve [1-15].
■ Adjust gun input pressure (see chapter 7).
Fill with material
■ Unscrew cover from material cup.
■ Fill material cup with material.
■ Screw cover onto material cup.
Painting
Use the trigger [1-6] to activate the atom-
izing air and adjust the material flow. The
further the trigger is pulled back, the more
material comes out of the needle cap [1-2].
The trigger has to be held during the entire
spraying process.
The spray pattern depends on the material
flow and on the spray distance between
the SATAgraph 4 and the object. Fine lines
are produced with a small spray distance
and low flow rate. To spray larger surfaces,
enlarge the spray distance and increase the
flow rate.
■ Pull safety cap [1-1] off nozzle head [1-3].
■ Press trigger [1-6] down vertically to acti-
