2. General description
Please read right through the operating
instructions and the safety notes at the end of
the instructions before using the charger for
the first time.
The Lipomat 6-800 is a 230 V charger for batte-
ries consisting of one to six 3.7 Volt Lithium-
Polymer (LiPo) cells; it features an integral
Equalizer (balancer). It is the ideal unit for char-
ging LiPo batteries of small to medium capa-
city (approx. 0.4 ... 2.4 Ah).
The battery packs are connected to the charger
using the voltage sensor lead; the individual
cells (including parallel-wired cells) are charged
individually to a final voltage of 4.2 Volts. This
ensures that all the cells in the pack are char-
ged to the same voltage at the end of the pro-
cess, without wasted time.
Since outputs 1 ... 6 are independent of each
other, it is also possible to charge two 2-cell
packs simultaneously.
If you use the Equalizer adaptor lead
6S>2x3S, No. 4023, it is also possible to
charge two 3S packs simultaneously, and one
2S plus one 3S LiPo battery.

The battery to be charged must be fitted with a
voltage sensor lead.
If this is not the case, a suitable lead must first
be attached to the pack as shown in the draw-
ing below.
