Overload Clutch

If the drill becomes caught or jammed, the
drive to the drill spindle is interrupted.
Because of the forces that occur as a result,
always hold the machine securely with both
hands and take a firm stance.
Speed/Impact Rate and Impact
Force Selection
The regulating electronics make possible the con-
tinuous setting of a speed/impact rate and impact
force that is suited to the material to be worked.
The adjustment takes place with the thumb-
wheel 6.
The "Constant Electronics" hold the selected
speed/impact rate/impact force nearly constant
and ensures uniform working performance.
Select the speed/impact rate/impact force appro-
priate for the material to be worked.
The values in the table are recommendations.

vides higher performance for chiselling work.
Chiselling position (Vario-Lock)
Operate the mode selector switch 3 only at
a standstill.
The chisel can be locked in 12 positions. In this
manner, the optimum working position can be set
for each application.
Insert the chisel in the tool holder.
Set the mode selector switch 3 in the "Vario-
Lock" position.
Turn the tool holder to the desired chiselling posi-
tion.
Allow the mode selector 3 switch to latch again in
the "Chiselling" position. Then turn the chisel
somewhat to the right and left until it latches. The
tool holder is locked in this position.
The mode selector switch 3 must always be in
the "Chiselling" position for chiselling.
