TORQUE - ELECTRONIC TORQUE REGULATOR
The torque is regulated by rotating the Trimmer TORQUE, varying the
output voltage of motor ends,(when rotated clockwise, more torque Is
transmitted to the motor).
Such torque Is automatically Included 3 seconds after the start of every
operating cycle.
This allows the motor to have the maximum pickup when it starts.
SLOWING DOWN
Use DIP 9 to enable or disable further slowing down. This only takes
place just before final closing by a reduction of the motor voltage (low
voltage with electronic clutch) and is directly proportional to the value set
by the electronic clutch trimmer.

MOTOR DIRECTION OF ROTATION CONTROL
This control facilitates installation of the system and allows further checks
to be performed.
1 - Release the motor and move the gate to half open position.;
2 - Put DIP1 in the ON mode => The LED DL9 starts blinking;
3 - Press the PROG button and hold it (the gate now is controlled in a
dead man mode: open, stop, close, stop, open) => THE RED LED
DL10 and the DL11 come on and the gate starts closing. The second
leave closes four seconds after the first one. If this does not happen,
invert the wires of the motors V1,W1 and V2, W2);
4 - Press the PROG button and hold it => the gate starts opening. The
two gate leaves will open with a two second difference;
5 - Adjust the mechanical stoppers in opening;
6 - Press the hold the PROG button until both gate leaves reach the
completely close position and are now ready for the timing
programming;
7 - Set the electrical limit switches if provided;
8 - At the end of the procedure, switch DIP1 to OFF. LED DL9 goes off to
confirm exit from the check procedure.
N.B. During this check, the encoder and photocells are not active.

TIME PROGRAMMING FOR TWO MOTORS (#)
THIS CAN BE DONE IN EITHER OF TWO WAYS:
MODE 1 - WITH ENCODER (DIP 7 ON AND JUMPER S3 OPEN)
- WITH ENCODER AND ELECTRIC LIMIT SWITCHES (IF
APPLIED) (DIP 7 ON AND JUMPER S3 CLOSED)
- WITHOUT ENCODER BUT WITH ELECTRIC LIMIT
SWITCHES (IF APPLIED) (DIP 7 OFF AND JUMPER S3
CLOSED)
MODE 2
- TIMED (DIP 7 OFF AND JUMPER S3 OPEN)
MODE 1
1 - Start with the gate completely closed and with mechanical stopper
already regulated like fig.10.
2 - Put DIP 2 in the ON mode => LED DL9 will blink rapidly.
3 - Press PROG. => M1 opens.
4 - When the gate comes into contact with the opening stop, the
ENCODER stops M1 (with storage of the encoder readings and the
time) and M2 starts to open simultaneously.
5 - When the gate comes into contact with the opening stop, the
ENCODER stops M1 (with storage of the encoder readings and the
time) => the delay countdown prior
simultaneously (max 5 minutes).
6 - Press PROG. => delay countdown prior to automatic closing stops
and M2 closes.
7 - Press PROG. => M1 closes and creates a phase difference between
M2 and M1. At the same time LED DL9 stops blinking to signal exit
from the programming mode. At this point, the safety devices and
other gate controls will resume normal operation (inversions, stops,
alarms, etc.).
9 - The gate will stop at the end of the ENCODER countdown.
10 - AFTER PROGRAMMING, SWITCH DIP 2 TO OFF.
NOTE: The same procedure applies to electric limit switches (S3 closed).
With S3 closed, gate travel is determined by the electric limit
switches and not by the encoder, which only acts as a safety
device.
MODE 2
1 - Start with the gate completely closed.
2 - Put DIP 2 in the ON mode => LED DL9 will blink rapidly.
3 - Press PROG. => M1 opens.
4 - When the gate comes into contact with the opening stop, wait one
second and then press PROG => M1 stops and M2 opens.
5 - When the gate comes into contact with the opening stop, wait one
second and then press PROG => M2 stops and the delay countdown
prior to automatic closing starts simultaneously (max 5 minutes).
8 - The gate will stop at the end of the ENCODER countdown.
9 - AFTER PROGRAMMING, SWITCH DIP 2 TO OFF.
