Leva strap
Intended purpose
protect.Leva strap is an ankle support
with stabilisation strap. The product is
exclusively to be used for the orthotic
fitting of the ankle joint and only on
unbroken skin or if any wounds have
been properly covered.
Indications
• Ligament instability, pulled capsular
ligament
• Joint effusion, swelling and irritation
(e.g. overloading, injury, postoperative)
Contraindications
Diseases or injuries to the skin,
sensitivity or perfusion disorders in the
legs or feet, lymph drainage disorders.
Mode of action
The compressive knit enhances
perfusion, thus reducing effusion and
swelling. This combination of
compression and stabilisation strap
supports joint function, enhances joint
mobility and alleviates pain.
Instructions for fitting
• Grasp the middle of the support on
both sides. Pull it up over the foot till
the heel section is properly fitted. Then
pull the support up (Fig. 1).
• Make an "eight" out of the elasticated
band and lead it round the ankle joint
(Figs, 2-5).
• Affix the end of the strap to the
elasticated band (Fig. 6).
Please note that the support should be
fitted for the first time as instructed by
trained specialists.
Tips on wear ing
Supports have the greatest effect during
physical activity. In principle, the
support can be worn throughout the
day. During long periods of rest (e.g.
sleeping), the support should be
removed.
Care instructions
Please close the hook and loop fasteners
before washing. We recommend using a
laundry bag. Soap residues, lotions and
ointments can cause skin irritation and
material wear.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably
using a medi clean detergent, or in
delicate cycle at 30°C using a mild
detergent without fabric conditioners.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
    
Storage instructions
Keep the product in a cool, dry place and
do not expose to direct sunlight.

Liability
The manufacturer's liability will become
void if the product is not used as
intended. Please also refer to the
corresponding safety information and
instructions in this manual.
Disposal
The product can be disposed of in the
domestic waste.
