Instructions for use
Dear Reader, dear Patient,
The medi 2 in 1 is a simple and
effective aid that is designed to
assist with the application and
removal of compression
stockings.
• It offers a simple solution to
pulling the compression
stocking over the instep and
the heel when donning.
• The medi 2 in 1 can be used to
assist with removal of
stockings, allowing the
garment to be taken off with
the minimum effort.
The donning and doffing aid
medi 2 in 1 can be used for
stockings of all lengths
(below-knee, thigh-length or
pantyhose).
medi 2 in 1 can be washed with
the daily laundry in the washing
machine at up to 40 °C using the
delicates programme. Please do
not dry clean or use any chemical
stain removers.
Allow to dry naturally. Avoid any
sources of heat such as heaters,
radiators or machine dryers.
1 Lay the medi 2 in 1 donning aid
flat on the floor. Fold the long
end along the dotted line.
2 Place your bare foot on the
medi 2 in 1 donning aid with
your toes pointing toward the
folded border. Please make
sure that there is enough
material (at least 3 cm) at the
front for your toes and at the
back of your heel.
3 Push the material gently
between your toes to hold the
material securely.
4 Pull the stocking on over the
in step and the heel towards
your knee.
5 The medi 2 in 1 donning aid
stays in the stocking, hanging
out at the back of the calf.
6 Pull your compression
stocking up to about one
hand's width below your knee,
allowing you to pull the
medi 2 in 1 out easily.
7 Grip the part of the medi 2 in 1
that is hanging out of the
stocking and lift your heel
slightly. You can now pull the
medi 2 in 1 out of your
compression stocking.
