• Zero Adjustment
Display:
The zero adjustment allows you to eliminate the potential offset.
The offset can be the reason for viscosity deviations of 10%. The adjustment is
made in a measuring position without the rotor installed.
Recommendation: Do a zero adjustment in case of viscosity deviations
exceeding 10%.
Action:
- Normal operation: when a zero adjustment is not required, wait 3 seconds
until the Rotor selection mode is automatically reached.
- Zero adjustment: Short press the main switch within 3 seconds. The display
will then show...
Display:
Zero adjusment procedure:
The viscometer has to be mounted on the optional holder with a stand, without
rotor. Alternatively position the viscometer vertically on top of the measuring cup,
without rotor.
After correct positioning of the viscometer, the display "Adapt TMVM 1'' has to be
confirmed by pressing the main switch.
Action:
- Short press the main switch
The zero adjustment will automatically start. During the adjustment which
takes about 13 seconds, the message "Cal. Wait" will appear on the display.
After the successful zero adjustment the instrument will automatically
reach the Rotor selection mode.
