recognizes that a fully charged EnergyPack has been installed, it automa-
tically switches to the operational mode "EnergyPack". To change back
to the operational mode "757B8 Ottobock Interchangeable Battery" the
electronic control unit must be sent to an Ottobock Myo-Service facility.
As delivered, the electronic control unit is in the operational mode "757B8
Ottobock Interchangeable Battery".
This product may not be disposed of with regular domestic
waste. Disposal that is not in accordance with the regulations
of your country may have a detrimental impact on health and
the environment. Please observe the information provided by
the responsible authorities in your country regarding return and
collection processes.
2 Changing the Electronic Control Unit
Attention!
Observe the correct order for changing the electronic control unit as
described in these instructions for use.
Do not touch or bend the contact springs of the electronic control
unit. Direction arrows located on the housing indicate the direction
for assembly and disassembly. Assembling or disassembling the
electronic control unit in the wrong direction will destroy the unit's
contact springs.
3 Disassembly
3.1
Close the Electric Greifer.
3.2
Set the on/off switch to the "On" position. Bring the quick-disconnect
wrist to mid-position. Unscrew the screw on the bottom of the coa-
xial bushing and remove the coaxial bushing (Fig. 1).
3.3
Turn the quick-disconnect wrist to the right up to the stop. Next,
bring the on/off switch to the position "Off" (Fig. 2).
3.4
Use a thin screwdriver or similar tool to carefully lift the two snap locks.
Push the electronic control unit off the Electric Greifer by applying the
tool laterally to one of the snap locks (Fig. 3 and Fig. 4).
