1. Technical Data
The REMS CamScope and REMS CamScope S endoscope camera is used for the inspection and damage analysis of locations with difficult access such as cavities,
shafts, pipes etc. and serves for documenting the inspection results in the form of photos and videos, in the REMS CamScope S in the form of videos with voice
recording. The camera cable sets of REMS CamScope and REMS CamScope S are protected against temporary immersion in water (≤ 30 min, ≤ 0.1 bar).

2. Start-up
Remove the screw from the battery compartment (17) of the handheld unit (5)
(only in REMS CamScope), push the cover in the direction of the arrow to
remove, remove the battery holder, insert 4 1.5 V, AA, LR6 batteries into the
battery holder, pay attention to the position of the plus-minus poles. Push the
battery holder back into the battery compartment, slide in the cover, screw in
the screw (only in REMS CamScope). Always change all four batteries at once.
The controller unit has an integrated Li-Ion battery. Caution: Mains voltage
present! Charge the controller battery before start-up. To do so, connect the
supply voltage/Li-Ion charger to the charger/mains socket (16) of the controller
unit and a suitable wall socket. The battery charging time is approximately 3
hours. A full charge lasts for about 2 hours of operation depending on the use.
The controller unit can also be operated with the connected supply voltage/

Push the controller unit (7) onto the handheld unit (5) from above until it snaps
into place. When inserting the camera cable set (2), make sure that the pin on
the cable plug (3) is pushed into the slit in the cable socket on the handheld
unit (5). Tighten the knurled nut.
The controller unit can be operated both by radio signal and directly with the
handheld unit. If the controller unit (7) is fixed to the handheld unit (5), the signal
transmission takes place via the contact pins on the controller unit and on the
handheld unit. Transmission switches over to radio signal transmission as soon
as the controller unit is removed from the handheld unit. For radio-controlled
operation, make sure that the controller of the REMS CamScope is set to channel
CH 4. This is indicated in the top left hand corner of the display. If this setting
should deviate, it can be corrected to CH 4 by pressing the Down button (12)
several times. No channel must be set manually in the REMS CamScope S.
