Mechanical or inductive limit switches
The technical specifications for limit switches can be found in the catalogue. Ensure that the wir-
ing is safely laid out during installation. Avoid damaging the cable, e.g. by installation radii which
are too small. This can lead to system failure. The wiring must not be in the path travelled by the
linear unit.
Mechanical limit switch
The limit switch is installed at its position on the side of the
guidance section of the linear shaft with a support plate. The
groove running in the side of the guidance section is used to
secure the switch at the desired switching point position.
Inductive limit switch
An inductive proximity switch is used in the guidance section
groove. The switching pulse is triggered by a tapped pin sc-
rewed into the guidance slot. To install it, move the switch
in the groove until the switching point is reached. Use a tap-
ped pin to secure the proximity switch in the groove. Place
the limit switch lead in the groove and fix it with cover sec-
tions. The lead will be led to the steering.
