• Remember to disconnect the tool before cleaning or
servicing.
• All the tool's components are an important part of the
insulating system and shall only be serviced in a
Authorized Service Center.
• ALWAYS ask for
when sending the tool to be serviced.
• Avoid using solvents when cleaning the plastic parts of
the tool. Most plastic materials are susceptible to get
damaged with several types of commercial solvents.
• To remove dirt, carbon or dusts use a clean cloth or
pressurized air.
WARNING
NEVER set the tool in contact with
brake oils, petroleum based products, penetrating oils,
etc. Those products contain chemical substances that
could damage or destroy plastic.
WARNING
ALWAYS wear safety glasses with side
protection or a shield when using pressurized air to clean
particles. If there is too much dust wear a dust mask.
• Using this tool for big jobs with fiberglass materials,
gypsum wallboard, plaster or gypsum is not recommen-
ded. The particles of these materials are highly abrasive
for any power tool. If using the tool with one of these
materials clean frequently with pressurized air to increase
the working life of the tool.
Lubrication
• The tool bearings have high-grade lubricant. When used
under normal conditions keeps it lubricated for its entire
working life. It does not require lubrication.

Carbon brush replacement
• Carbons should be checked periodically. When worn
take the tool to a
center to have them replaced.
• After replacement ask to see if the new carbons can
move freely inside the carbon housing and to run the
motor 5 minutes to even contact between carbons and
commuter.
original spare parts
• Use only original
specifically designed with the hardness and resistance
adequate for each type of motor. Carbons that are out of
specification could damage the motor.
• Both carbons should be changed simultaneously.
