Removing the Spacer
1. Remove the stem adjuster.
2. Unscrew the limiter collar.
3. Pull out the temperature limiter.
4. Remove the spacer.
5. Attach the temperature limiter
so that the center mark on
the limiter aligns with the top
center point on the valve.
6. Firmly tighten the limiter collar
and reattach the stem adjuster.
3. Remove plaster guard and clean the tile.
NOTE: Do not remove plaster guard
until tile work is completed.
4. Place the cover plate in the valve
5. Install the cover plate gasket and
tighten the nut.
NOTE: Apply water on the o-ring if
the escutcheon is not going in firmly.
6. Confirm that cover plate is firmly
installed with the nut. Then, put on the
escutcheon by pushing it into
the cover plate.
