CONTROL VOLTAGE WIRING – NOTE: Do not use
any kind of thermostat that absorbs power. It can
cause control problems to the unit.
NOTE: For cables up to 15 m, use an insulating
cable (35°C minimum) No. 18 AWG (American
Wire Gauge). For 15 to 23 m, use an insulating
cable (35°C minimum) No. 16 AWG (American Wire
Gauge). For more than 23 m, use an insulating
cable (35°C minimum) No. 14 AWG (American Wire
Gauge). All the cables longer then No, 18 AWG
cannot be directly connected to the thermostat
and require a joint box to be connected to the
thermostat. See the Table for the American /
European cable conversions.
1. If the unit is assembled on a Roof Curb and
a connection to the service plate is used
through the curb, direct the cables through the
connection plate.
2. Connect the thermostat cables to the screw
terminals of the low voltage connector.
