6.3.2 Direction of rotation (3-phase version only)
Connect a pump as described in paragraph 5.3.2.
Connect the network as described in paragraph 5.3.8.
Close the cover on the control box.
Set the selector switch (See FIG. 1 - item 2) to position 1.
If the indicator light (See FIG. 2 - item 2) is illuminated, the rotation
direction is correct.
If the indicator light is extinguished, reverse the two wires of the power
cable on the master disconnecting switch.
General application for wiring different from that shown in diagram
(See FIG. 8):
Connect a pump to terminals 2 (T1), 4 (T2) and 6 (T3) of the thermal
relay (See FIG. 3 or 4 - item 7).
Connect the network as described in paragraph 5.3.8.
Close the cover on the control box.
Set the master disconnecting switch (See FIG. 1 - item 2) to position 1.
Run the pump for a short time in order to check that the wheel
rotates in the right direction. (Tilt the pump to see the bottom and use
the selector. (See FIG. 2 - item 6).
If the indicator light (See FIG. 2 - item 2) is illuminated, the wheel is tur-
ning in the right direction and the connection is correct.
If the indicator light is extinguished but the wheel is turning in the right
direction, reverse two wires of the pump cable on the thermal relay
and reverse two power supply wires on the master disconnecting
switch.
If the indicator light is illuminated but the wheel turns in the wrong

direction, reverse two wires of the pump cable on the thermal relay.
If the indicator light is extinguished and the wheel turns in the wrong
direction, reverse two wires of the power supply cable on the rotary
disconnecting switch.
In the 2-pump version, the second pump must be wired in the same way
as the first.
6.4 Automatic operation
Set the selector or selectors (See FIG. 2 - item 6) to the "AUTO"
position.
6.5 Special points regarding operation
The 2-pump control box is equipped with a start-up switching system
triggered by the shutdown of the last pump in operation. This ensures
that the pumps are started the same number of times and that their
operating times are equivalent.
If high level 2 is reached when the control box is switched on, a fixed
time delay (of about 2 seconds) ensures that the pumps are started
up in cascade mode.
This time delay is only used in the normal cycle.
7. MAINTENANCE
The control box does not require any specific maintenance.
a) The pumps "fault" indicator light on the control box must be illuminated.
Check the adjustment of the thermal relay and reset by pressing the relay's blue
button
b) Replace the fuses (Check their rating).
If tripping continues, check the current draw of the motor concerned. If this current is
much higher than the current value indicated on the plate on the motor, the motor
is faulty and must be replaced.
c) Switch off the electric power supply on the control box, remove the pump and
check that the shaft turns freely. If it is jammed, proceed with the disassembly of the
pump.
d) Disconnect the terminal block from the motor concerned and check the power sup-
ply network on the terminals and the insulation of the stator. Replace the motor, if
necessary.
e) Replace the winding.
f) Replace the board.
a) Check the power supply voltage (cable cross section too small, drop on power line,
etc.).
b) See paragraph 6.3.2.
c) Remove and clean the pump.
a) Replace the fuses.
b) Check all the connections on the control box terminal block.
c) Free the float and check that it moves freely.
a) Replace the board.
